Sidney Van Wichelen, a filmmaker from Brussels, creates vibrant films by portraying his characters’ feelings and creating emotion using a strong narrative thread. After finishing film school, he started telling intimate human stories through film and worked at the Research & Development department at the RTBF. Later, his experiences as a creative in advertising helped him understand the value of ideas, leading to his depiction of human comedy to serve brands’ interests. Sidney’s films are both funny and sensitive, using cinematic shots and narration. His portfolio includes projects such as ‘De Kamer’, ‘Eu In My region’ ‘Bob Campagne’, ‘Solo’ & ‘Aveve, and collaborations with Belgian artists such as Hamza, ICO, Lord Gasmique, Coely, Senamo, Caballero & JeanJass, Krisy, L’Or du Commun, Loic Nottetand Romeo Elvis.
